Crisp Mint Lettuce
Lactuca sativa

A large, romaine type lettuce, with heads growing up to 9" long, by 12" wide. The leaves are known to be sturdy and crisp, yet with a very smooth, non-bitter flavor. The leaves show moderate ruffling and can look quite a bit like mint leaves (though much larger). A somewhat uncommon variety, but well worthy for home growing.

Maturity: 60-65 days.

Origin: Unknown.
