The quintessential eggplant, featuring large, egg shaped fruits growing to 6" or more. The fruits ripen to a deep, dark purple and have tasty eggplant flavor. Unlike many similarly appearing varieties, Black Beauty is open pollinated and quite easy to grow. The 20-30" plants are compact but yield well.
Maturity: 75-80 days.
