Uses |
| This tree was an important timber tree in New Zealand, with highly durable wood. It also has a variety of medicinal uses which the Maori employed. The flowers are full of nectar and extremely popular with birds, as are the fruits. Fruits have a poor flavor and are generally not eaten by humans. |
