Jaracatia Carica dodecaphylla (Jaracatia
spinosa) a.k.a. Tree Papaya, Thorny Papaya, Deer's Papaya Yellow, ovaloild fruit with five lobes, somewhat resembling a
bloated star fruit. The sweet flavor of its gelatinous pulp is
said to be much unlike the papaya. |

Uses |

Eaten raw, but when unripe, the fruits contains an milk that is irritating when digested. Fruits are either boiled, or the milk is let to drain before they are eaten. |
