A wild persimmon measuring up to 3" across. The skin is mottled green-yellow, often with black spots. Flesh is white, thin, with a mildly sweet flavor. The fruits are rare in the wild and not cultivated.
Description: A semi-deciduous tree growing to 15-30 feet. In its native range, flowering occurs between August and October, with fruits ripening a couple of months after.
