3 seeds per pack. A very rare palm, native to tiny Round Island, near the island nation of Mauritius. Fast-growing, with attractive, lightly blue tinted fronds and in this subspecies, a yellow colored crown shaft. The trunk is slender, dark in color, and bulbous at the base. Medium sized, can grow to 40 ft / 12 m. Grows best in humid, tropical areas, but appears to be adaptable to some cooler Mediterranean climates as well. #1258
