A relative of the common King Palm, this species is commands attention for its large, purple colored crown shaft. Grows to 20-30 ft / 10 m. Has similar adaptive abilities to the King Palm and will tolerate brief, light frosts. Seeds are much larger than the King Palm. Seeds are fresh, cannot be stored and should be planted on receipt. #1260
