Sweet Datil Pepper 
Capsicum chinense


A variant of the famous Datil pepper, hailing from St. Augustine, Florida. Pods are a bright, glossy red when ripe, about 2" long, by 3/4-1" wide. Flavor is similar to the Datil, with its considerable fruit overtones, but lacking the heat. This variety is still uncommon, and harder to locate than the standard datil.

Maturity: 80-100 days.

Heat: Sweet, no heat.

Origin: St. Augustine, Florida.
