A sizable paste type tomato having meaty fruits that can grow up to 5". The fruits have quite a bit of flesh and generally contain few seeds. The flavor is sweet, rich, and well-admired. Fruits grow on plants that are vigorous, with usually generous yields of fruit that tend to come in clusters of three to six. Many if not most fruits have a prominent tip opposite and their ends.

Origin: A family heirloom originally from Poland. Brought to the United States by the Opalka family in the early 1900's and was subsequently popularized beginning in the 1990's.
