An extraordinarily pretty eggplant, with long, 8" fruits that are colored in a cascade of lavender and white stripes. Fruits are oval shaped, with white flesh having a very mild and top quality flavor. Plants are generally compact, usually growing to 14-16". The variety is said to perform well in hot weather.
Maturity: 80-90 days.
Origin: Originally from Italy southern France, noted as early as 1850.
