1 seed per pack. A rare member of the Phyllanthaceae (otaheite gooseberry, bignay) native to tropical West Africa. Bears 1"+ fruits that several sources claim are edible. Fruits are said to be wild harvested. This species doesn't appear to be cultivated outside of Africa, but it likely needs a humid, tropical climate. Small to medium sized tree. Could be dioecious like a number of its relatives. Its wood is used for timber and furniture. #4534
