Plant Cultivation

Small tuberous shrub with huge leaves, up to several feet long. Has mild cold hardiness, to at least 32F, and the tubers will probably survive a few degrees lower. Grows best in shade or filtered sun. Water regularly, protect from extreme low humidity.
Propagation: By seed and root cuttings.

Origin and Distribution

Native to Central and South America.
