Shrubby plant known for its huge leaves, up to 4-6 feet wide.
Description: Medium or small sized shrub native to wet subtropical areas and
mountainous tropical zones.
Hardiness: It is hardy
below freezing, although probably only to 25-30F.
Growing Environment: Seems to do well in cloud-forest like conditions,
and will grow in part shade or low light. Water regularly.

Propagation: By seeds.
Uses: Grown as an ornamental for its huge leaves, which along with being large in size, are ornamental-having pretty red veins.
Native Range: Native to Central and South America.
