| Passiflora pallens |

A sprawling vine with a sort of weedy growth habit, this extremely rare Passiflora is rarely seen in cultivation. Pretty white flowers are followed by fruits of unknown edibility.
Description: Fast-growing vine to 20-30ft. Grows well with support, but this species can also crawl along the ground. Fruits are occasionally set without cross-pollination, but for fruit production, multiple clones are best. Related to P. gibertii and P. sprucei.
Hardiness: Hardy to about 30F
Growing Environment: Grow in full sun or filtered sun. Water regularly. Not too picky about soil, so long as it is well-drained.
Propagation: By cuttings, by seeds.
Uses: Rare in cultivation, but grown as an ornamental.
Native Range: Native to southern Florida.
